Bim Webb Wishes You a Happy May Day!

Bim Webb has been flying this Soviet Naval Flag in front of his house in Free Union for fifteen years in honor of May Day.

In 1886, the American Federation of Labor passed a resolution designating from May 1st of that year forward that 8 hours should constitute a full work day.

May 1st is also the birthday of Mother Jones, who said, 'Get it right, I'm not a humanitarian. I'm a hell-raiser.'

Democrat Bim Webb is a former White Hall District Committee Chair and a resident of Free Union.
