Sixty or over? Want to take a course or courses in the University of Virginia's School of Continuing Education? You can enroll to audit courses tuition free--you have to wait until three days prior to the start of the semester (to give the paying customers first crack); been a legally domiciled resident of the state for at least one year; and then you can sign up on a space-available basis.
And, if your taxable income in the previous year did not exceed $15,000, you can take courses for credit and still not pay tuition. In either case, you need to obtain the instructor's OK, and you have to register for the course.

Some of you may recall C-Ville Weekly's review of my web site in August of 1998. This was followed up in February 2000 by then-editor Hawes Spencer with "Fight site - Dems dialogue on" and "Best of Charlottesville 2000 in July 2000."
