Dear George,

I second everything said by Adrienne Weinberger in support of Meredith Richards. She is in my opinion the most knowledgeable council member in matters of transportation, and was probably defeated by her open support for the Meadowcreek Parkway. History has proved that change will happen.

Remember the hard fight years ago to keep the Fashion Square Mall out of the city? The battle was won but the war was lost, when a few years later a shopping center did get built in the very same location.

Meredith has the foresight to recognize that change cannot be stopped, so it must be managed. It's regrettable that city Democrats did not give that foresight the credit that it deserves. Kudos to Meredith.
