Dear George:

I am very sad that Meredith Richards is no longer going to be a part of the City Council.

I agree with the Daily Progress article that Meredith is knowledgable and has been an important part of the City Council. She proved her transportation acumen when she gave a very comprehensive talk regarding Meadowcreek Parkway and alternative transportation possibilities in the area to the Government Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Commerce. I was extremely impressed.

I hope she will share her expertise with the general public, in order that they understand that we need to improve the transportation situation. Hopefully she will be a phoenix and continue helping our community! Not only is she astute, she is a darn good person, too!
