Angela Terrell Champions Breast Cancer Counseling

Among women, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer after nonmelanoma skin cancer and is the second leading cause of cancer deaths after lung cancer. In 2003, an estimated 212,600 new cases will be diagnosed and 40,200 deaths from breast cancer will occur.

Counseling for breast cancer risk typically involves individuals with a family history that is potentially attributable to breast cancer one and breast cancer two.
