Bill Loper Champions World Karting

I'm a member of the World Karting Association.

The World Karting Association gives my wife and me an excuse to shop all weekend. Parts are always breaking and you know what they say: "Speed ain't cheap." We relax during the week because we don't have any money to run around buying stuff.

The World Karting Association gives my wife things to nag about. "Did you clean your tires yet? Are you fueled up? Are you sure you want to go up a gear?" She gets nagging out of her system on the weekend and so we get along real well during the week.

The World Karting Association gives my friend the engineer a chance to use his education. He gets to change the world around him, to try to make life easier, to make me faster. Sometimes he's right. Sometimes he just makes it more complicated.

The World Karting Association keeps me too busy to reflect on the sorrows and tragedies of the world. I need to hurry up and clean my tires, add fuel and change gears. Of course, my blown engine was tragic. It made me really sad.

The World Karting Association is a great diversion. It's a lot like America. If the World Karting Association invades Iraq, I'm going to change sanctioning bodies.
