Dear George,

I'm sure I'm not the first one to speculate on this. I don't believe in this kind of stuff, but you gotta admit, it's kind freaky:

Is the Red Sox winning the World Series - coming back from a 0-3 deficit in the AL playoff series agaisnt their arch-rivals, the Yankees, and winning 8 games straight, thus breaking the curse of the bambino after 86 years - during a lunar eclipse of all things - a sign from God?

Is the fact that the Pats won the last Superbowl and are currently undefeated this season yet another sign from God?

Is this a good omen for Senator Kerry? Are the stars trying to tell us something? Will he pull the winning hat trick for New England?
