The Port of Wilmington is renowned as the largest Banana Port in North America.
Dole Ocean Cargo Express and Great White Fleet call at the port weekly to deliver approximately 1,500 FEU’s of fresh bananas and smaller tropical fruit from Central America. Edyth L is a 600 foot Tank Ship and is part of the Great White Fleet.
