Whatever the season,
A daily walk and talk for health and life.
To friends and neighbors a cheery greeting,
Do come and join us now.

These are serious walkers! Marita and Clarence (my brother) have visited me in Southern California many times through the years, and an unbreakable ritual is the daily/nightly walk!

Walking with the McClymonds is great fun. Those who accept their invitation are in for a treat. I have shared many delightful perambulations with these intrepid walkers as they make their way through the lovely Locust Avenue neighborhood. Walking with them during the changing seasons of the year is good not only for health, but also for the mind and heart. They have so much knowledge and wisdom to share about art, architecture, food, family, history, politics, love, and living.
