Hi George -

Re: Lloyd Snook Agrees with the Virginia Supreme Court that theVirginia Cross-burning Statute is Unconstitutional, I exercise my constitutional right to say "that sucks."

I found his argument extremely patronizing. Apparently Mr. Snook thinks the reason for dissenting opinions is lack of knowledge. Many of us have readthe decision and strongly disagree with the language and the decision. Three of the state justices dissented and I daresay they were quite familiar with the case law.

I personally would feel quite a bit better if policemen were posted on private property when a cross is about to be burned. Unfortunately, cross-burners generally do not advertise their acts; they sneak out in the dark of night to commit their dastardly deeds wearing ridiculous sheets to hide their identities while execising their consitutional rights.
