![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() No, this is not the beginning of a movement toward alternative shelter on the rooftops of Charlottesville's Downtown Mall. Turns out it is Chris Wilmer on the top of the Jefferson Theatre, tying down some errant sheet metal. Chris says that when he saw the problem, he called up his good friend Hawes Spencer [owner of the building and editor of C-Ville Weekly] and they "went up and secured the situation so that there would be no danger of the metal flying off in the wind and causing harm to anyone " (electronic mail, March 16, 2001). Chris Wilmer's organization is The Consortium for the Advancement of Art and Education. Check it out!
