Fifth Congressional District Representative Tom Garrett has recently held a "virtual town hall" via Facebook. Indivisible Charlottesville has been pressing him to appear in person, and finally scheduled an event for last Sunday, inviting the Congressman to attend. More than 1,000 people gathered at Charlottesville High School to discuss topics including immigration, the Affordable Care Act and LGBTQ rights. But Tom didn't show up.
