It seems like the Electoral Board should either have let Sheri Iachetta go at the point when charges were filed against her, or the situation should be dealt with after the election, which I assume is the plan. Suspending her now, 6 days before Election Day, would be foolhardy.

As for their own positions, let's see what action they ultimately take.
