George, In yesterday's report of a recent Washington Post poll Terry McAuliffe trails 41 - 51 among likeliest voters. This to a candidate as scandal-wracked as Ken Cuccinelli. I know that McAuliffe is widely unknown while Cuccinelli ought by now to be very well known. In the election last November, Romney and Allen each got 47% of the vote while losing Virginia. Assuming that at this point a generic Republican should run about even vs. a generic Democrat, here we have a well-known Republican doing amazingly well vs. a generic Democrat. I am worried.
