The City Democrat's "Firehouse Primary" or Unassembled Caucus was held on August 20, 2011 at Burley Middle School. Unofficially 2582 voters cast ballots to nominate Satyendra Huja, Kathleen Galvin, and Dierdre ("Dede") Smith for City Council seats. Llezelle Dugger is the Democratic nominee for Clerk of Charlottesville Circuit Court.

These Nominees will run for election in the November 8 General Election.
