George, Rich Collins reminds us that today's Democrats are nothing like the party faithful in the New Deal era. Very true, but in one way we are responding like they did. They elected a president who attacked the '30s depression by becoming a traitor to his class. Seems to be we're attacking our depression the same way. Rey Barry (Electronic mail, December 9, 2010)
