Dear George,

I attended the Senior Statesmen's forum this afternoon along with a big attentive crowd. There was applause for both candidates, both of whom looked and sounded attractive, answering questions with confidence and ease. I was proud of my candidate Tom Periello, and hoped that Jeff Clark was persuading some of the Republicans there to vote for him. It would serve Robert Hurt right for refusing to join the other two candidates.
