The media and political pundits have been trying to make this election a referendum on President Obama since the primary last Spring. Now they are in the process of "king making" by witing Deeds off as a loser before the election.

Those of us who have become familiar with the legislative work of the two candidates, should be the ones to decide the winner of this election, not folks whose only dog in this fight is bragging rights if they succeed in convincing the voters to vote the way they have called the election today.

I would like to think Virginians are smarter than that, but I'm not overly optimistic.
