Bill Moyers seemed to agree that Obama was going through the same turmoil as Lyndon Johnson was, in the hour he devoted to taped phone calls from Lyndon to all sorts of advsers, ending the same way as Obama. He felt we couldn't afford to look weak or else the whole of Asia would turn communist. The Military must have persuaded Obama that we must show ourselves strong. Nice for milirary careers.
