What a coup for Sorenson, what a loss for the Daily Progress. This loss will encompass much more than Bob's reporting and his columns. The seasoning and ballast he provided for the sometimes promsing young reporters is not as visible as his other contributions, but his presence often made the difference in what was covered and how well it was covered.

I hope his new job won't keep him from the [weekly Wednesday] seminar-lunch at Millers.
