Dear George,

There is a difference between something cult like and something attractive and meaningful. Senator Clinton could be branded with the same criticism amongst her supporters because they "believe" in her. In order for a political candidate to attract votes he must attract belief - he or she is being voted into a position based on the expectation they will perform in a certain manner. In this way, one can see President Bush as one of our greatest Presidents - he has performed to the expectation of not only all who voted for him but also all who did not.

Criticiczing Senator Obama for being inspirational is a topic that deserves little if no attention except to the critic who would trade for his skills in a Washington second if she could. When someone emerges as more capable of leading it is clear. Resumes do not lead. People do.

Senator Clinton would do well to simply focus on being inspirational herself, because if she secures the nomination she will have to be.
