I am sorry that David Brown is choosing not to be our mayor. I think he was an excellent representative for our community.

Equally disappointed, or perhaps more so, is my amazement that Taliferro and Norris want other Democrats to support them for the Mayor role when they slapped the Democratic Party in the face by endorsing the Republican for sheriff over the Democratic candidate Larry Claytor. How should a political party deal with traitors like this? What should the message be for the thoughtlessness shown by these two Democratic leaders Taliaferro and Norris? If the City Democrats have any party discipline, then there should be consequences to these betrayals. I will be watching closely.
