George, The Dean Days - and nights - now seem like something that happened in another life. For the first time since the death of Bobby Kennedy, I felt totally alive. Full of hope. Full of possibilities opening up the door to political decency. Howard Dean is still speaking reason and rationality, and I am still listening. I still cling to the remnants of hope - remnants that have been woven into a more sturdy cloth since the '06 election. Now I am wrapping that cloth around the nascent campaign of Obama; it is lovely to know that hope can be revived, and can thrive in spite of being beaten down. Time after time ....
