Watching Romney squirm as he tries to convince the Republican religious base that being a Mormon is acceptable is quite amusing. After all, the Bush/Rove team made being religious part of the test for a candidacy and now the Party has to figure which religion it will be. The Founding Fathers' wisdom that eschewed any religious test for political office remains valid.
