George Allen telling Virginia that he now "gets it" with regard to racial sensitivity is as true a death bed conversion as I have seen. He has never been one to avoid cynical expediency in the interest of his political ambition. The only reason he "gets it" is because of his plummenting poll numbers after his macacca comment. This leopard has not changed his spots.
