George:

Last Friday after hearing Jim Webb speak at the Miller's event I decided to endorse him in the democratic primary vs. Harris Miller. In a race that has not always been the most positive and where both campaigns have attacked one another, I strongly feel that Mr. Webb has been the more positive candidate, and he also has a better chance of defeating Senator Allen in November.

Jim Webb has the domestic and foreign policy experience needed to be a great Senator for all Virginians. He has worked hard to keep this primary campaign positive and help move Virginia forward, but Mr. Miller has been on the attack ever since Jim Webb entered the race.

Jim Webb is an ardent supporter of unions, women's rights and gay rights. Jim has been endorsed by the Steelworkers of America and has pledged his support for equality for all Americans.

In November we have a monumental challenge in trying to unseat any incumbent in congress, and we all know that Senator Allen is extremely popular in this state. In a head to head competition I strongly believe Jim Webb will be the more competitive candidate in trying to unseat George Allen. I strongly urge all democrats, republicans and independents to join me in voting for Jim Webb on June 13, 2006 in the democratic primary.
