George:

I decided to vote for Jim Webb several weeks ago, partly because people much more in the know than I am are sure he is the one who can beat George Allen. Reading Lloyd's superb analysis I see all the things I would say and a lot more. Maybe one addition. Allen is a fool who is seldom made to look like what he is. Webb strikes me as the kind of debater --tough, knowledgeable, confident, in control -- who would be able to unhinge George, make him look like the fool he is.
