    On Monday, May 2, Lisa Thomas entered Virginia in her 925-mile walk from Alabama to Washington, D.C. to call for an end to the death penalty and hunger in the United States. She expects that her 245-mile walk throuh Danville, Lynchburg, Charlottesville, Madison, Culpeper, Manassas, Fairfax and Arlington will take her about 13 days.
