Planned Parenthood Action Fund released two ads designed to mobilize women voters to support its endorsed presidential ticket of John Kerry and John Edwards. The ads, which began airing on October 11, will run in at least nine battlegound states on popular cable TV stations such as MRV, TBS and USA through election Day. One of these features actress and new mom Helen Hunt. ![]() In the meantime, Action Fund endorsements in Virginia are as follows: Democratic incumbent Rick Boucher (9th Congressional District) by the Planned Parenthood of the Blue Ridge Action Fund and by the national Planned Parenthood Action Fund; Democratic challenger Al Weed (5th Congressional District) by the Planned Parenthood of the Blue Ridge Action Fund and by the national Planned Parenthood Action Fund; Democrat David Ashe (2nd Congressional District) by the Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia Action Fund and by the national Planned Parenthood Action Fund; Democratic incumbent Bobby Scott (3rd Congressional District) by the national Planned Parenthood Action Fund; and Democratic challenger James Socas (10th Congressional District) by the Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington Action Fund and by the national Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
