I thought [the 'American Candidate'] would be a hoot, and it kind of was, but I can't imagine anyone actually taking it seriously. It's TV, for chrissake. I don't even take the news on TV seriously. When I saw that Medea Benjamin was involved, I was amazed.

I had fun, I talked to a lovely young black man [Keith Boykin] and ended up voting for him. I traded a few words with a seemingly nice libertarian guy (so we know that he really isn't nice), had a camera stuck in my face and signed a release form. Who knows, maybe I'll use up another 5 seconds of my 15 minutes of fame. But of course, I will never know.
