Meredith Richard's suggestion to hold a referendum on the Meadowcreek Parkway sounds like a great idea.

We don't know how it would turn out. People on both sides feel sure they would win.

There's nothing wrong with government doing what a majority of its citizens want. Not all our councillors or council candidates act that way when exercising power. To me that's what sets Meredith above other candidates. She neither insists we do things her way, nor represents new age cronyism and pressure groups.

Meredith makes my first ballot choice an easy one.
