George,

Whether Janet Jackson is black or white or even performed a lewd act is absolutely, unequivocally, completely irrelevant to the Virginia General Assembly and their real job which is to run Virginia.

The Assembly should stick to business and stop ridiculous grandstanding legislation that wastes taxpayer's money and time. This includes things like Dave Matthew' Day or whatever clutter self important legislators want to cram into the docket. After all, this is how we ended up with "Lee, Jackson King Day." Democrats and Republicans we have plenty of real issues to argue about.

PS. I am asking this to be a little funny but honestly, if Michael Jackson had done the lewd act, would the legislation still be racist?
