George,

You can't trust the government to do anything these days it seems.

First you couldn't trust the FDA to keep harmful drugs like Vioxx from being distributed to the American consumer (over 70,000 victims there - way to go FDA!) and now they're disseminating inaccuate information about sex and sexuality to our children. Parents are going to have to teach their own children about sex if they want their children to be well-informed enough to make their own decisions about their sexuality.

It seems that kids aren't likely to get the truth from government programs these days. The government doesn't seem to want to level with the American people. Why can't the government trust Americans with the truth so they can make their own well-informed decisions? Does the govenrment think the only way to reduce teenage pregnancy, abortions and the transmission of STDs is to lie to our children? I think the American people deserve better than that. Americans aren't a bunch of gullible idiots and the government shouldn't treat us as such.

We need truth, not progaganda.
