George,

One of the pieces of logic (?) used to justify the Meadow Creek Parkway is that the road has been "on the table" for 30 years. It has been both on and off the table for 30 years because it is a bad idea which has never reached a critical mass of approval.

To use this logic in terms of the park - the Park has been here far longer that 30 years. It is here because of a good idea. If our arguments go for longevity of an idea, isn't it time to respect the longevity of the Park and preserve it for future generations to enjoy just as we have in the past and are currently doing?

To allow the road to be built using a legalistic trick (smoke and mirrors anyone?) is contrary to the ideals of a democracy. Last I checked, that was our form of government.
