Just to dispel any misunderstanding about where most Italians stand vis à vis the US administration, I'd like to point out that the majority of Italians oppose the war. Go to any Italian town or city and you will see flags saying, "Pace" (peace) hanging from multiple windows and shops. While the Italian goverment may support the war, the Italian people most certainly say contrawise.
