George,

President Bush's invoking Martin Luther King Jr.'s name is an outrageous travesty. For Bush "No Child Left Behind" are empty political words. For Reverend King it was a sacred commitment. He dedicated his life to helping poor and oppressed people. He called on the rich and powerful to redemption and community: to unite with all people in fulfilling this country's promise of liberty and justice for all. Bush's core belief of tax cuts and "keep your own money" is the exact opposite of Doctor King's message.
