I just drove down Rio Road at 4:00 in the afternoon. The traffic was horrific. Like it or not Charlottesville is growing. We need the Parkway ... desperately. I dare a candidate to run against it.

In fact, I'll make a deal. If a Democrat candidate for Council bases his or her platform on killing the Meadowcreek Parkway and wins I'll shave my head.
