Dear George,

My comment about the Iraq situation is this:

If we don't believe what Saddam says, why are we bothering with demands?

First we (i.e. Mr. Bush) says Saddam must accept inspectors OR ELSE. Then, when he agrees to allow the inspectors to come, in we (i.e. Guess Who?) say we don't believe him and we'll probably hit him anyway.

So why are we bothering with demands? It begins to look like just a lot of posturing, and not just from Saddam's side.
