It bothers me that, despite the water emergency, life goes on as usual at the university. E.g., huge crowds of people coming here to see UVA games. Are they necessary? Don't all those extra people add to the water shortage?

This water shortage is affecting all of us. How come UVA is immune? Or am I missing some deeper meaning about the need for spectator sports?
