I think I may know the future of the "Yellow Bike" program.

Yesterday afternoon my son was walking the dogs down by the Rivanna River. He found one of the yellow bikes in the river. He managed to put it together enough to push it home. It is now under my back porch and in need of repair.

Any idea where I should take it? If not I will call City Hall.

Well, I still hope to ride a Yellow Bike someday, but they certainly did vanish fast.

I hope this means they're all in use the way they were intended. But there hasn't been one in the stand across from where I live since the day after they were put into service. Maybe someday I'll get my turn.
