Hi George,

The most effective method for choosing school board candidtes is through the League of Woman Voters open forum. Each candidate is asked the same questions and the public can compare these unrehearsed, direct statements. The public also has the opportunity to ask their questions of each of the candidates.

The ability to raise money, and the tendency to harness political influence are not in the loop.

Feedback to the city council through e-mail, calls and letters completes what I feel is the best process, including the public from the start.
