I agree with Muriel Wiggins and the fate of the Jefferson School before City Council. I'm supporting Bern Ewert for council, because i trust him to save the Jefferson School for education. He has some other qualities I think are needed in council, e.g., ability to handle the budget -- make it readable.Creating the budget is the most important job council has. If readers can't understand it (or compare it with other budgets), it's a waste of time. His recommendation to increase the size of the Capital Improvements Budget is long past due.
