Should anyone be interested in my thoughts on candidates for the upcoming Democratic nominating convention I offer the following.....

I endorse and will be supporting both Waldo Jaquith and Joan Fenton at the Democratic nominating convention on February 23.

Both Waldo and Joan have investigated and understand the major issues in transportation, education, economic development, environmental protection, social justice, historical preservation, ... and offer creative and progressive proposals that address these important community issues. The talent, energy, and vision that they would jointly bring to council far exceeds what any other two candidates would bring.

I hope my fellow Democrats will consider which pair of candidates best blend with councilors Lynch, Cox, and Richards to best represent Charlottesville's diverse communities. From what I have seen and heard from all of the candidates, Jaquith-Fenton (or Fenton-Jaquith) is the ticket.
