I don't agree with Creigh exactly on all matters pertaining to guns, but I agree with him 100% that [guns are] the defining issue in politics in much of rural Virginia.

And my differences with him are minor in comparison to the agreements that he and I share on so many more issues -- education, environment, economy, choice [see Creigh Deeds Pro-Choice Record and Creigh Deeds Answers on Reproductive Health Care Policy Questionnaire], etc.

If we Democrats insist on making limitation on gun ownership and possession a defining issue, we will be defined out of all power.
