I would like to see John Ashcroft replaced. I dislike his antiabortion stand. It seems to me we use the wrong tactic. No law ever stopped abortion, and never will. They are trying to legislate UNSAFE abortions. I am old enough to remember botched abortions, no counselling, aftercare, or any of the amenities we have to-day. They can do better with persuasion. Look at the demise of smoking. No one passed a law against it. Persuasion did it. Legislation only produces illegal botched abortions. Lets use different tactics. Lets fight John Ashcroft.
