In his October 16th request for contributions, Republican United States Senate candidate Rick Lazio gives five reasons for why we should help him defeat "Mrs. Clinton's brazen and opportunistic United States Senate bid."

Among them are: "[Hillary Clinton's] Hollywood Celebrity Connection;" assistance Hillary is receiving from "the [Bill] Clinton - [James] Carville Cartel," whose negative campaign tactics, he says, are "filled with deception, distortion, and derision;" and the possibility that Hillary might choose to "run for the White House herself in 2004 or 2008."

That we should be so fortunate.
