Dear George:

I agree with you that we should admit that our presidents are human. Given everything that I know about Clinton, I would still vote for him. He still is the closest match to my political beliefs.

While I really do not approve of his personal behavior, I can't imagine that there would be anyone's private life, if so exposed, that would be acceptable. I would never run for office because I, too, have skeletons in my closet.

We need to keep our eyes on the good that our presidents do for our country and let them damage their souls in private. None of us are so pure that we can judge Bill Clinton.

Ever notice that Henry Hyde's "youthful indiscretion" was actually at
an age older than Bill Clinton is now?
