Going to Chicago for the 1996 Democratic Convention? Wondering what those radicals from a by-gone era will be doing(Al Ciordano, The Boston Phoenix, May 10, 1996) ?

"Chicago Seven defendent Tom Hayden, now a California state senator, will be a Clinton delegate to the convention...Former Chicago Seven defendent Dave Dellinger, now living in Vermont, is organizing nonviolent civil-disobedience actions with the aim of freeing American Indian Movement leader Leonard Peltier from federal prision...(Andrew Hoffman, Abbie's son, is organizing a Festival of Life at) "Grant Park -- the site of some of the police riots in '68 (the last Democratic convention in Chicago) -- for a five-day series of rock concerts and rallies."

Congratulations to our own Will Harvey and Joe Rhames who will be delegates to the 1996 Democratic Convention. It sounds just too good to miss.
