"The attempt to change our historic state flag is the latest attack against our Southern heritage and orthodox Christian culture.

The Christian symbol of the Cross of Saint Andrew is incorporated in our present state flag as well as the flags of Scotland, England and Jamaica.

We do not need a new image, a new morality, a new gospel, nor a new flag for the 21st Century.

All of our problems are due to forgetting the old morality and the old Gospel.

Let us heed God's word and 'Remove not the ancient landmark which thy fathers have set.' (Proverbs 22:28)

The following ordained ministers exhort you to '...ask for the old paths...' (Jeremiah 6:16) and vote to keep the old flag.
