Maurice was President of the Ridge Street Neighborhood Association from 1994-95 and Organizer and Facilitator of the Kellytown Neighborhood Community-based Design Workshop from 1995-96.

On Wednesday, May 7th, Maurice won his election bid to serve his first term on Charlottesville's City Council, winning in all eight precincts. Congratulations, Maurice!
